Map – Unfinished Lair

Impatient students of the arcane arts are easy to fall.

Their lack of wisdom and hunger for power makes them leave their studies half finished and leads them to dark paths and many times to their doom.

Such is the fate of the owner of this half finished dwelling. They summoned water elementals to cut into the stone. Then they summoned earth elementals to help them mold the earth.

So fancy!

The first room finished was one that was to be used for greater summonings. Runes were quickly placed and protective wards were set. But you should never be impatient when it comes to scribing summoning runes and protective wards, especially when you are planning to summon devils.

No grid

The moment they step into the material realm, they start looking for flaws in the circle they were summoned in. And if they do, it’s the end for the summoner.

Grid!

So now this unfinished place lies silent. An elemental or two can be still found here, corrupted by the devil that was brought forth to the world.

That’s why you should stay in school.

I hope you like the map and its description. I’m happy I was able to release a map after all this time. Getting back to it was fun, even though I was rusty.

My patrons have access to a higher quality version of the map. If you’d like access to them, as well as early access to articles, sneak peeks, and exclusive content, you can consider supporting me on Patreon.
